The Edge Track is a selective, private 60-day mentorship for Black and Brown working graphic designers. You already understand the fundamentals. You’re already taking on paying client work. You know you’re capable of more. Maybe you just need someone who sees you. Who was where you are. Ready to level up? This is for you.

The Fit Check Before you apply, I need you to do your homework. Check out some of the work in my portfolio. Yes, I know it’s older work, but it represents my style and clients. Please look past the names and focus on the execution, the strategy, and the technical choices.

If my work doesn’t speak to you, or if you don’t see the value in how I solve problems, we won’t be a good match. I’m looking for designers who respect the craft, not just the client list. If you want to to learn the grit and strategy behind the finish, let’s get to work.

Eligibility

Completion of one Design Check is required before applying. This ensures alignment, commitment, and readiness for advanced critique.

This is NOT for you if: You are looking for a cheerleader, likes, or a way to get closer to my client list.

Application Process

Applications open twice per year.
Limited seats (1–2 designers per cycle).

Applicants are selected based on:

  • Openness to critique

How It Works

Duration: 90 Days
Format: Async mentorship (email or private chat)
Cadence: 2 structured submissions per month

Each submission must include:

  1. The design

  2. The project brief

  3. Your rationale

  4. What you’re unsure about

Standards

  • Feedback is designed to be direct, not personal

  • Craft over ego

  • Deadlines are important

  • Miss two deadlines and your seat is released
